Upnor's Very Own Flag!

Thank you to Kath Lambert (aka Queen of Upnor) for sending this lovely design of an Upnor Liberation Party Flag. Note the Cannon in the bottom centre of the flag which represents the Dutch invasion of Upnor in 1667 by  De Ruyter, also connecting the cannon image with Upnor Castle. The Blue and Red signifies Upnor as the home of the Royal Engineers who in 1965-67 converted the route from Lower Upnor to Chattenden into a road and a bridge which they then named Upchat Road.

If you like Kath's design or would like to make a flag/poster for Upnor yourself, then please post your comments/designs on the home page.

Thank you Kath!
