Recruiting now for volunteers!


Has your family lived in Cuxton, High Halstow or Upnor for a long time?
Would you like to tell us about your life in rural Medway in the past?
Would you like to learn oral history interviewing skills and take part in the project as an interviewer?


A free training course and social event has been arranged for interviewers
Where:  Meeting Room, Brook Theatre, Old Town Hall, CHATHAM, Kent
When: Either  Wednesday 18th April 10.00-5.00
Or:                 Saturday 21st April 9.45-4.45

We're delighted to announce that the Time & Tides project has successfully been awarded support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and is starting up in January 2012!!

To launch the Time & Tides project, we will be holding a series of taster sessions in each village.

Come along and see objects from the Rochester Guildhall museum or get up close and personal with old archive documents.

To find out more about the project and how to get involved, drop in and meet the team - tea & cake and interests for all age groups will be provided!
